Service Experiences
Below are some examples of possible Service Experiences. Are are not limited to only things on the below lists. They are just some great ideas to help you find an experience that will be beneficial to you. If you are unsure of a experience you have thought of, please feel free to contact us.
Ministry (Serving the Church):
- Become a liturgical minister (lector, server, extraordinary minister, or cantor [Not Usher or Greeter]).
- Join a liturgical Choir
- Volunteer with Little Lambs Childcare during Sunday morning Masses.
- Volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul Society.
- Volunteer for a few shifts on different days of Fall Fest (September).
- Volunteer at the Parish/School Auction (March).
- Volunteer at a few Fish Fries.
- Volunteer at the Fall or Spring Parish Clean-up Day.
Mission (Serving the Community):
Summer Mission Trip with Lake Country Life Teen the summer before the confirmation process counts as all four. Mission trip with another organization can be used for just the two mission experiences.
- Go on a Summer Mission Trip
- Plan with your small group (and leader) to go to St. Ben's in Milwaukee and serve food to the Homeless
- Volunteer at Lake Country Caring or St. Vincent de Paul to sort clothes or the food pantry
- Organize a Food Drive, Clothes Drive, Book Drive (etc.) with a student group/athletic team
- Organize a Awareness Event for a cause with a student group/athletic team
