"It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you." - John Paul II
I moved to Wisconsin in June of 2020 from Roanoke, VA which is in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While I miss the mountains, I have found a home here in Lake Country and a beautiful community in St. Charles. I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2020 with a degree in Theology and Catechetics and a concentration in Youth Ministry. I have been looking forward to working in ministry since I was in high school and I am so excited to be a part of the St. Charles family!
I was involved in my own parish youth group since I was in middle school and I'm stoked that the Lord has called me to meet and walk with young people who are at the same stage in life that I was at when I encountered him in a personal way. I grew up Catholic, but didn't really experience the faith as important in my life for a very long time. I felt that I was going through the motions when it came to Jesus and was beginning to ask questions about who I was and where I belonged, when I went on a Steubenville conference the summer after 8th grade. I encountered the Lord and the Church as living and vibrant for the first time and eventually, I felt that the Lord was leading me to Franciscan to study theology. My desire to love and serve Him in youth ministry has steadily grown over the past several years in my formation at Franciscan and in my time here it has only become deeper. I'm really excited to see what He wants to do here in our ministry!
