Lake Country Life Teen is a dynamic Catholic high school ministry program for teens in the Lake Country area of Wisconsin (Western Waukesha County).
At Lake Country Life Teen, our mission is to invite young people to meet, know, love and serve Christ. We believe that the typical “CCD” or “religious education” provided at most parishes, while helpful and formative, often does not meet a young person’s thirst for an encounter with the Person of Jesus Christ and does not help foster a living relationship with God.
We strive to provide the opportunity for young people to meet, know, love and serve Christ through our simple discipleship process. This process includes a bunch of fun and engaging Eucharistic-centered relational ministries. This includes IGNITE!, mission trips and volunteering, social events, retreats, summer camp, mentorship and leadership opportunities, and so much more! All high school students are welcome to join us at any of our events!
"Love has to be put into action"
As we come to Know Christ, we are called to a greater relationship with our Lord. We do this through ministries that help teens "walk the walk" as disciples.
Emmaus is for teens who desire to “walk the walk.” Emmaus is a discipleship group that helps teens go deeper and put their faith into practice. Emmaus meets twice a month on Tuesday nights in the Life Teen Café.
XLT comes from the word eXaLT and is an amazing night of worship unlike any other! It mixes praise and worship music with a powerful, inspiring, yet challenging witness talk. The main focus is a time of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (The Eucharist) and the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation!
